Seminar with CommerceNet Korea at Chun Ahn Resort 24-25 November CommerceNet Singapore has been invited by our Korean counterpart, CommerceNet Korea (CNK) to participate in their annual Business Workshop at Sang-Rok Resort, Chun-Ahn on 24-25th of November. The objective of this joint workshop is to enhance business network among CNK and CNSG members. Five CNSG member companies (Netegrity, Sesami.com, TrustMarque, Viewlocity and Tidal Laboratory) have expressed interests to be part of the delegation and they will do a "mini-roadshow" during our visit to Korea this Fall.

13th Korean e-Commerce Club Panel Session CommerceNet Singapore (CNSG) participated as panelist of 13th e-Commerce Club Panel Session. The topic was 'Globalisation Strategy of Internet eBusiness'. The session was held at Chun-Ahn Resort outside Seoul. CNSG members, Sesami.com and Viewlocity, also participated in the session moderated by Prof. Tae Myung Chung. |

Singapore launches Bootcamp for eBusiness Startups at Orchid Country
Club CommerceNet Singapore organised a Bootcamp for eBusiness Startups, which was held on the 11th (Saturday) and 12th (Sunday) of November 2000 at the Orchid Country Club Singapore. The main objective was to provide eBusiness startups and entrepreneurial individuals some of the essential knowledge, skills and tools to succeed in running a startup business. Distinguished group of industry experts and speakers in the eCommerce arena attended the two-day Bootcamp. Comprising formal seminar sessions and informal workshops tracks, the Bootcamp aimed to examine the practical issues relating to the setting up of a dot.com right through to its successful IPO. The speakers shared their experiences with those preparing to embrace a new and dynamic approach to starting up eBusiness in the new economy. |
