Breakfast Forum "A Bigger Pie: How ICT Companies Can Benefit From FTAs"

This breakfast forum was jointly organised by CNSG and iDA. The forum discussed FTAs that are designed to create a preference zone for the free flow of goods, services, investment, innovation and people. To date, Singapore has signed FTAs with ASEAN, New Zealand, Japan and the EFTA states, with the earlier two already in force. Negotiations are on-going with the US, Australia, Canada and Mexico.

The forum also discussed several FTAs in the pipeline including China-ASEAN, India and EU.

CommerceNet Singapore to Sign MOU with IdEA on 1 June 2002

CommerceNet Singapore will sign a Memorandum of Understanding with Innovators and Entrepreneurs Association (IdEA) on 1 June 2002 at the launch of IdEA. IdEA was formerly known as Association of Technopreneurs.

CommerceNet Singapore (CNSG) plans ITCN Saudi Arabia 2002 at Dhahran International Exhibition Centre in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. The event is slated for end-September and early-October 2002.
