 [ 26 Aug 2002 ] CNSG - Keppel Digihub - iTransAct - MasterCard - Sun MicroSystems Joint Breakfast Forum: "New Standards for Credit Card Payments"

CNSG - Keppel Digihub - iTransAct - MasterCard - Sun MicroSystems jointly organised this Executive Breakfast Forum, "New Standards for Credit Card Payments" on the 26th August at the Carlton Hotel, Singapore. The response from registrants was overwhelming. More than 70 participants attended the forum.

Dr. Margaret Tan, Consultative Partner, CommerceNet Singapore Ltd gave the welcome address. The first speaker, Mr Mark Patrick, VP-Interactive Services, MasterCard spoke on "Guaranteed Payments for eCommerce Transactions, New Universal Solutions from MasterCard."

The next speaker, Mr. Jae Park, Asia South Director, Sun Microsystems discussed issues on “Smart Web Enabling The Next Generation Payment System”.

The last speaker Mr Randall Choo, CEO, I-TransAct Pte Ltd spoke on “What Is The Impact For The Merchant, Bank and
Consumers?” Mr.Choo went on to present a "Live Demo" to the audience.
