[ 16 May 2002 ] CommerceNet Singapore to Sign MOU with IdEA on 1 June 2002

CommerceNet Singapore (CNSG) will sign a Memorandum of Understanding with Innovators and Entrepreneurs Association (IdEA) on 1 June 2002 at the launch of IdEA. IdEA was formerly known as Association of Technopreneurs. The MOU will be signed by the Chairman of CNSG, Dr. Toh See Kiat and the President of IdEA, Mr. Roderick Chia.

CNSG will serve as the secretariat for IdEA, coordinating the various planned activities of the association. The objectives of the association is to gather like minded innovators and entrepreneur together to generate innovative and entrepreneurial spirit amongst members, often in consultation with government . The grouping also seek to establish, sustain and develop purposeful contacts and network with venture funds through their activities.

The launch is planned at Phase Z.Ro at Bouna Vista. The guest of honour is Mr. Teo Ming Kian, Chairman, Economic Development Board of Singapore.
