The significance of having robust and resilient information security infrastructures are examined in. a Breakfast Seminar on ISO/IEC 17799 Certification. The speakers include Dr. David Brewer. The Breakfast Seminar was held in conjunction with aspnetcentre conducting a 3-day course on "Information Security Management System Training" (ISMS with Intrusion Management) on 26 - 28 November 2001.

The forum discussed how IT and information security fit with the important issues of corporate governance and internal control. Participants are introduced to certification of IT systems and processes. An overview of the current international state with regard to ISO/IEC 17799 was also introduced.

The well attended breakfast forum was held at the Goodwood Park Hotel.
