 [ 19 September 2001 ] CNSG Proposed Rescheduling of E-Global 2001 and ITCN Asia 2002  

CNSG proposed that the forthcoming E-Global be renamed as E-Global 2002, to be held in February or March 2002, and the Sindh major initiative ITCN Asia 2002 be rescheduled to August 2002.

Speaking while in transit, Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Jeh Shyan Wong noted that the fragile political situation in the region had affected the scheduled E-Global 2001. Mr. Wong leaves it to Pakistan coordination committee to decide on the exact dates of E-Global 2002 in Lahore, as they have a better feel of the ground in Pakistan.

Mr. Wong said that he will be announcing the rescheduling after his meeting with all CommerceNet component bodies supporting E-Global and ITCN Asia events. He is scheduled to be in Korea and Hong Kong in the next few days.
