CommerceNet Singapore (CNSG) sent a delegation to Pakistan to work out the protocol requirements and hotel bookings for E-Global 2001Conference and Exhibition. The meeting discussed launching details and work out the framework to enable as many parties to participate meaningfully in the events as possible. To be incorporated in the programme is a boot camp to assist local small enterprises and young entrepreneurs.

CNSG had received tremendous support from many institutions, associations and organisations, both within Pakistan as well as from Middle East. The local parties will coordinate each organisations role in the planned events.

All publicity materials approved in June were agreed to be printed in Pakistan and the organising committee awarded contract for the printing of brochures. Deadline for logos and monograms of participating organisations to be forwarded to organising committee for use in other media publicity was determined at the meeting.

Major management contract for all suppliers are to be reviewed. As a matter of policy, CNSG requested that all major contracts for the event be awarded to local Pakistani firms where possible.
