 [ 15 January 2001 ] CNSG Visits Punjab IT Board

Delegates from CommerceNet Singapore (CNSG) and private sector followed-up in a second visit to Punjab IT Board (PITB). CNSG had previously visited the PITB last year to understand the initiatives and activities of PITB.

During the visit, various issues pertaining to the current international software market situation and CNSG's offer to help PITB to fulfil their vision of Proximity Centres were discussed.

PITB had requested CNSG to assist smaller software houses to have a more meaningful participation in ITCN Asia 2001 as well as involvement in software export promotion outside of Pakistan. CNSG agreed with PITB to include potential Pakistan's IT firms short-listed by PITB in future CNSG international road shows and networking sessions.
