In the third part of our Internet Payment Series, we have with us Mr. Peng
Kern, Sales Specialist from e-business solutions, IBM ASEAN/South Asia.
Mr. Peng Kern's discussion covers the emerging Internet payment scene. He
introduces a hybrid known as 'MIA' or Merchant Initiated Authorisation,
which combined common types of Internet payments, the SET and SSL into a
unified work flow.
He touches on payments hosting, and payment environment in Asia. MIA has
gained following from both PSP - Payment Service Providers, and CSP - Commerce
Service Providers.
Mr Peng has 3 years of experience in a Manufacturing Environment (based
in China and US) and is also responsible for Capacity Planning, Logistics
and Finance. He has a year's experience in an Internet Voice Communication
Environment based in Singapore. He handles Pre-sales and New Projects/Products.
Currently, he is involved in e-business solutions in ASEAN/South Asia for
IBM (Singapore).
