CommerceNet Singapore (CNSG) held its Year 2000 Annual General meeting at 10:00 a.m. on 27 July 2000. The meeting was chaired by Dr. See Kiat Toh and was held at the conference room at 3A Jalan Kubor.

The meeting passes the minutes of the previous meeting and the accounts of the previous years, which was tabled to the Board of Directors earlier.

Members were briefed on the latest status of CommerceNet Consortium development globally. The relationships between CNSG and global partners were also discussed.

The Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Jeh Shyan Wong updated the members on the current status of CNSG. The structure of CNSG, current initiatives and future projects were discussed. Members were also updated on the latest status of CNSG global trust mark initiatives.

The meeting discussed the option of making available research data to the public before they become outdated. Members agreed that research data can be passed-on or disseminated to non-members and a reduced pricing as their 'shelf life' or 'data relevance' may become less valuable in the near future.

The meeting ended at 11:45 p.m.
