CommerceNet Singapore introduces the current issues in web-based trust mark development. Speaking to an international audience of nearly 60 participants, CommerceNet Singapore CEO, Mr. Jeh Shyan Wong shares CommerceNet Singaporeís experience on the detailed development of the web-based certification process. The intricacies inherent in the formulation process of a viable trust mark were closely examined.
The critical clustering approach required to make the project a success is important. The ability to master the detailed development, including subject matter expertise and workflow of each industry becomes a critical aspect of a web-based certification scheme.
CommerceNet Singapore also explained the Pan-Asian and the subsequent globalisation approach taken in developing the trust mark. Internet had brought into view, new ways how the merchants and service providers interact with their existing customers, and how the concept of trust is being re-examined.
