 [ 14 March 2000 ] National Information Technology Awareness 2000 (NITA 2000)

CommerceNet Singapore CEO, Mr. Jeh Shyan Wong spoke at the launch of the National Information Technology Awareness 2000 (NITA 2000) on Saturday, 11 March 2000. Organized by NUS School of Computing, the audience composed mainly of students from the university and junior colleges. This is the 4th NITA in the series.

Mr. Wong spoke widely on the current framework that makes e-Commerce possible. Emphasis was on the success and failures of project incubation, and the various business models adopted by these technopreneurs.

The event is followed by an exhibition of student's projects.
