Important initiatives are missed due to concern for over spending. Whether the business is logistics, product manufacturing, or financial services, clear opportunities exist to improve strategic contribution while controlling both short term and long term costs. Come to this session and learn how to make your infrastructure contribute to the bottom line. Learn how to make it a competitive advantage.

2nd Speaker
Mr Edward van Leent,
Chairman and CEO, Enterprise Product Integration Pte Ltd

Title of Presentation: “Environmental Monitoring in today's mission critical environments”

Presentation Abstract/Description
Today’s data center operations are extremely critical and small risks can have a major impact, it’s availability is a closely watched and easily measurable factor when evaluating its success. The availability of any data center depends on many practices. People, process, software, hardware and certainly the environment all contribute to its success.  Failure to address any one of these issues with the same focus and interest leaves the work (and costs) in the other areas vulnerable, if not redundant.  Monitoring of the data center environment should be an integral part of any company's policy and process when deploying Enterprise Monitoring solutions.

Speaker's Profile
Edward van Leent has 17 years experience in the hi-tech industry. He has worked in the electronic design, EDA-software, Hi-Availability computer systems, mission critical data center and enterprise management markets.

He has held varies senior management positions in multinational companies in the areas of customer services, business development, sales & marketing and strategic management.

Currently he is the Chairman & CEO of Enterprise Products Integration (EPI), which is a global company with presence in Europe, Middle-East and Asia-Pacific. EPI specializes in helping customers to improve Availability, Manageability and Efficiency of their IT-Infrastructure using innovative and cost-effective solutions.
